Our new Autumn menu is available now!
As with all our menus, we regard the importance of including fresh, seasonal produce very highly, as we believe these factors ensure the dishes on our menus are exciting and full of the flavours of the season.
With the weather having made a definite turn towards winter, the desire for hearty, warming dishes has emerged within us all and Head Chef Dave’s latest menu has answered this call!
Why not try the whole roasted Hampshire partridge filled with chicken liver and tarragon mousse served with roasted new potatoes, carrots, green beans, celeriac puree and Cumberland jus.
Mussels are perfect at this time of year, so you could tuck into a steaming bowl of Scottish mussels in Hogs Back cider and smoked bacon served with rustic bread.
For those with a sweet tooth, Dave has truly hit the spot with a warm coffee and walnut cake with salted caramel sauce and coffee liquor along with a delicious twist on a classic; spiced pear and blackberry crumble with homemade custard.
